Located on the south-western part of the
Leh District, Kyonon is a beautiful hamlet set against the snow clad mountains of the
Himalayas. It is around 26 km away from Tanze.
At a magnificent altitude of about 15,141 ft above sea level, Kyonon is a wayside haven for tourists in this area. Kyonon is surrounded by Kurgiakh in the western part, Takh in the northern part, Sir Bhum Chun in the eastern part and Darcha in the southern region.
Kyonon can be easily approached from Shadi and Mone Leh.
