Set at a height of 14,986 ft above sea level, Kurgiakh is a small settlement in the southern part of
Leh District.
Khanjar lies to the west of Kurgiakh whereas
Kyonon is to the east.
Tanze and Darcha are to the north and south.
Kurgiakh-chu, one among the two main tributaries of the Zanskar, flows through this place.
Kurgiakh can be reached from Tetha.
