Bhind, the administrative headquarters of
Bhind District, is a charming town situated in the Chambal valley of
Madhya Pradesh. It is a prominent agricultural market in the district. Bhind is located 75 km north-east of Gwalior.
Places of tourist interest in the town include Vankhandeshwar Temple and the Jain Temples of Baranso. The Fort of Ater, Fort of Gohad and the Mata Renuka Temple are some other spots worth visiting in the vicinity.

Bhind Railway Station has trains to Gwalior. This line was constructed by the erstwhile Gwalior State and was opened on 3rd December 1899.
