Fort of Gohad

Fort of Gohad was constructed in the 16th century by the Jat ruler Maha Singh. With age and neglect, now the fort is more or less in a dilapidated condition but a mahal still houses various government offices. The 'Kachhari Mahal' here is noted for its unique Iranian art. A famous tourist place in the region, the fort of Gohad can be reached by bus or car.
