Yangthang

The town of Yangthang is in the Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh, near the Indo-Tibet border. Situated on Sumdo-Khab road, the town is around 100 km to the east of Rekong Peo. Nako Lake, Namgaya Buddhist Temple and Tilasangh Monastery are the nearby attractions. Pooh is located within a short distance from Yangthang. Shimla Railway Station and Kullu Manali Airport are the nearest railhead and airport respectively. The place is linked with Nako and Lio by direct road.
