Tegar


Tegar is a small village near Sumar in Leh District of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies on the way from Leh to Panamik, enroute Nubra Valley. Tegar Gompa is the prime attraction of this place.

Samstemling Monastery, on the banks of the Nubra River, is a nearby attraction.

One can approach Tegar from Tirit, by road.
