Homtich Thach

Situated on the Tiling-Morang-Chhitkul trekking route, the town of Homtich Thach is in the north-western region of the Kinnaur District in Himachal Pradesh. It is around 22 km north of Rekong Peo and 10 km south of Lang Thang. Other prominent towns in the neighborhood include Tebong Thach, Susing Thach and Kalapani Thach. Nako Lake, Kanda Lake, Jorkaden Peak, Raldang Peak and Kinnaur Kailash Range are some of the prominent attractions close to the town. Kanam Monastery, Mahabodhi Kinnaur Buddhist Temple, Lippa Monastery, Baspa Valley, Rupi Bhabha Sanctuary and Narayan Nagini Temple are the other worth visiting sites around Homtich Thach. Dehradun Railway Station and Shimla Railway Station serve the town. The nearest airports are Shimla Airport and Kullu Manali Airport.
