Mahabodhi Kinnaur Buddhist Temple

Mahabodhi Kinnaur Buddhist Temple is situated behind the All India Radio complex, 2 Km above Rekong Peo bazaar. There is a large statue of Maitreya, overlooking an orchard. The temple was consecrated by the Dalai Lama during the Kalachakra ceremony in 1992.
