Bijaynagar (also spelt Bijainagar) is a quaint little town in
Ajmer District,
Rajasthan. It is a historic site of great culture, warm hospitality, dauntless valor and a hypnotic charm. Bijaynagar is about 65 km south of
Ajmer.
Major point of attraction is the Bijaynagar Palace, located nearby. Bijaynagar is an ideal stopover conveniently located close to Sonkhila (the Great Indian Bustard reserve). A stroll on the camel’s back, a thrilling horse ride or a jeep safari in the reserve will be a memorable experience.
The nearest airport is at Jaipur.
Bijainagar Railway Station, on the Ajmer-Chittorgarh rail route, is the nearest railhead.
