Talegaon

Talegaon is situated 15 km north of Arvi and 50 km west of Kondhali, in Wardha District. It is 22 km west of Karanja and around 21 km north-west of Wadhona. Nagpur - The Orange City - is around 110 km east. Talegaon is not too far from the district’s border with Amaravati District.

Bor Wildlife Sanctuary is an ideal getaway in the wilderness, suitable for a one-day trip. Chikaldara Wildlife Sanctuary, Gugamal National Park, Wan Sanctuary and Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary are wildlife sanctums in the neighboring Amaravati District - the safari in the Melghat Tiger Reserve here is a not-to-miss adventure. Other places of tourist interest include Gandhiji's Ashram at Sevagram, Vinoba Bhave's Paunar Ashram and Mahakali Dam.
