Located in Melghat area of
Amaravati District in
Maharashtra, Wan Wildlife Sanctuary is an extension of
Melghat Sanctuary.
Vegetation consists of dry deciduous forests, the area is rich in tigers, leopards, hyena, wild dogs, bison, sambar deer, barking deer and wild boar.
