Vankhandeshwar Temple is an ancient shrine of Lord Shiva, located on the bank Gauri Sarovar, a beautiful lake in the heart of Bhind, Madhya Pradesh.
The temple was built by Prithviraj Chauhan in AD 1175. A 'Jyoti', flaming in the temple, is believed to have been lit by Prithviraj himself at the time of inauguration of the temple.
