Bandheri is 23 km west of Dhar and 18 km east of Sardarpur, in Dhar District of Madhya Pradesh.

Sardarpur Sanctuary, Darwazas, Bagh Caves and the historic sites around Indore are the interesting sites outside the town.

The nearest airport is at Indore. Indore Junction BG Railway Station and Indore Junction MG Railway Station serve the town. National Highway 59 passes through Bandheri.
