Sardarpur Sanctuary in
Dhar District of
Madhya Pradesh is located on
Dhar-
Jhabua road (
National Highway 59).
Established in 1983, it has an area of 3,244 hectares of which forestland makes up 568 hectares. Common species include Kharmore bird, jungle cat, jackals, porcupine, hyena, fox, cobra, krait, nag, python, bhura teetar, kala teetar, tree pie, drongo and rollers.
July to October is ideal to visit the park.
The nearest airport is Devi Ahilya Bai Holeker Airport and Ratlam Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
