Seringapatam of Mandya District is located about 2 km west of Srirangapatna. The town of Pandavapura is 9 km north and Naganahalli is 4 km south.

Ranganatha Temple, Daria Daulat Bagh, Mysore Palace, Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, Brindavan Gardens and Krishnarajasagara Dam are tourist interest in the region.
