Chhatabal is a scenic place located in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 5,124 ft above sea level and roughly 3 km from Srinagar – the district headquarters. Chhatabal is bounded by Gogu in the west, Maharajganj in the north, Nawab Bazar in the east and Lakhmanpur in the south.
Chhatabal lies at the meeting point of the rivers Vitasta and Dudhganga. The ancient Bhairav Nath Temple located here is worth visiting. Safa Kadal is another draw.
