Nachinola

Nachinola lies around 2 km from Aldona, in North Goa District. It is near the border of Bardez taluk with Bicholim taluk. Tivim is 3 km north and Pomburpa is 4 km south.

Nachinola is an ideal venue for birding enthusiasts. It is home to a variety of birds such as yellow-wattled lapwing, steppe eagle, lesser adjutant and cinnamon bittern. The area is mixed wetland and is surrounded by paddy fields. A nearby attraction is Mayem Lake, an ideal picnic spot.

The place can be approached via Goa Airport and Thivim Railway Station.
