Garhnokha

A small town in Rohtas District of Bihar, Garhnokha is just 18 km north of Sasaram - the district headquarters. It is the major settlement on the National Highway 30 between Sasaram and Bikramganj. Garhnokha is also known as Nokha.

Prime tourist destinations in its vicinity include Dehri on Sone, Rohtasgarh Fort, Tarachandi and Mundeshwari Stone Temple.

Nearest airport is at Gaya, approximately 100 km south-east.

The rail route linking Sasaram and Bikramganj passes through the heart of Garhnokha. Sasaram Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
