Yakkara

Yakkara village is in Palakkad taluk of Kerala. Sree Manappullikkavu Bhagavathy Temple is a prime attraction. Manappullikkavu Vela, the annual vela in the temple attracts people from far and near. There is also a mosque and a church.

Fort Palace Hotel situated here provides fairly good accommodation. The nearest places of tourism importance are Malampuzha, Nelliyampathy and Silent Valley.
