Located on the banks of the Mullai River, Veerapandi is a small village in

Tamil Nadu. It is about 8 km from
Theni.
This ancient place is famous for the 14th century Gowmariamman Temple. The temple was founded by the king ‘Veera Pandia,’ and hence the place was called Veerapandi. Earlier it was known as ‘Alandu.’ Sri Kanneeswara Mudayar Temple is another point of attraction.
