Vandri Lake




Vandri Lake is a large lake nestling between the Kondra hills and the Takmak range, 3 km from Dhekala. There are not many trees around this lake, yet it is very pleasant and is an ideal picnic spot. There is a path from the lake which takes the tourists to Takmak fort.

This lake is easily accessible from Dhekala village on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway. The nearest railhead is at Palghar on the Mumbai-Surat line.
