Vamsadhara River

Vamsadhara originates from the flanks of the Niyamgiri hills in Rayagada District in Orissa. Off its total length of 230 km, the river traverses 150 km in Orissa. It then enters Srikakulam District in Andhra Pradesh and finally drains into the Bay of Bengal. It has a total catchment area of 11, 500 sq km.
