Trout angling is one of the popular sports of

The Beas River and its tributaries have abundant opportunities for trout fishing. Parvati River, 35 km long, is known for its fantastic size of trout. Other prominent sites perfect for trout angling are Katrain,
Raison, Kasol,
Naggar and the Tirthan River.
During winters especially from November to February, trout angling is allowed only with the prior permission of the tourist information centers and the fishery offices.
