Raison, at an elevation of 1,433 m, is on the banks of the
Beas River in
Kullu District. It is 16 km from Kullu, and is on the way to
Manali.
Raison is a picturesque place, and a camping site is situated here on the grassy meadow. There are 14 tourist huts providing accommodation, which requires advance booking through the Kullu Tourist Office.
Located on the Kullu-Manali Highway (
National Highway 21), Raison is a perfect venue for trekking and trout fishing.
