Thoyor lies in the southern part of Leh District bordering Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. This small village is surrounded by Mulden in the north, Lakhong in the west, Sarchu in the east and Keuling in the south. A trekking route from Tapko Yogma towards Kuru passes through Thoyor. The Lingti River passes through this place.
