Thiruvarattukavu Bhagavathi Temple is a highly revered shrine situated at
Attingal in
Thiruvananthapuram District of
Kerala. The presiding deity is Goddess Bhagavathi, an incarnation of
Shakti. The deity of this temple is the household deity of the royal family of
Travancore.
The annual festival is Kodiyettu Utsavam, which commences on the Makayiram day in Vrischikam (November-December) and ends on the Uthram day.
Attingal is around 30 km north of Thiruvananthapuram and 40 km south of Kollam.
