Placed at an elevation of 13,044 ft above sea level, Tetha is a hamlet in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is about ten kilometers away from
Char. Tetha Monastery is the chief attraction of the place.
Tetha is surrounded by Katge Lato in the north, Tanze in the east and Kurgiakh in the south. Other places linked with Tetha are Dorzong and Khanjar. The place is a wayside haven for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
Tetha is approachable from Phugthal and Kargyok. A trek from Padum also leads to Tetha.
