Taklesh

Taklesh is a picturesque hamlet situated about 13 km from Nogli in Shimla District, Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by thick and untouched forests, the village is an ideal base for trekking. Treks to Sarahan, Chirgaon and Larot begin from Taklesh. Nearby tourist destinations include Rohru, Bahli, Nichar, Sungri, Larot and Dodra and Kwar. The nearest railway station and airport are at Shimla. Taklesh can be accessed from Rohru and Rampur. National Highway 22 passes through the village.
