St George Church is situated at
Edathua in
Alappuzha District. It was established in 1810. It is believed that prayers and offerings at this church help to heal all mental disorders and other ailments. '
Edathua Perunal,' the annual festival of the church, attracts people from all parts of South India, irrespective of caste and creed. It takes place from April 27 to May 7, every year.
