Sri Vijayadurga Temple, built in 1560, is located at
Keri in
North Goa District of
Goa. It is a finest example of classical architecture. The temple is surrounded on all sides by evergreen hillocks and groves of coconut and arecanut.
A beautiful water tank is situated just opposite the main shrine. The deepstambha and the approach stair from temple to water tank conform to the modern style of architecture.
Keri is about 76 km from Panaji, the capital city of Goa.
