Simrauta




Simrauta is a small town situated about 10 km south-west of Inhauna, in Rae Bareli District. It is well known for its traditionally made shoes (Naagre). A small stream called Semrauta Naiya, which is a tributary of Gomti River, divides Simrauta and Inhauna. Mohanganj, Maharajganj and Shivgarh are neighboring places.

Haidergarh Railway Station, in Bara-Banki District, is the nearest railway station. Amausi Airport is about 70 km from here.
