Shangpung

Shangpung is a small town in Jaintia Hills District of Meghalaya. It is situated at altitude of 4143 ft above sea level and is 20 km east of Jowai.

Thadlaskein Lake, Nartiang and Syndai are some of tourist attractions in the region.

The nearest airport and railway station are at Guwahati in Assam.
