Shalateng

Set at an elevation of about 5,131 ft above sea level, Shalateng is a small settlement in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about one kilometer from Palapura. Zainakut in the west, Malur in the north, Parampura in the east and Rishmahal in the south are the neighboring areas.

Shalateng can be reached by road from Srinagar – the district headquarters.
