Malur

Malur is a small settlement in Baramulla District of Jammu and Kashmir. Located at the south-eastern part of Baramulla, it is about ten kilometers from Srinagar.

Perched at an altitude of 5,108 ft above the sea level, Malur has Chak Dewan Shah in the west, Takia in the north, Goripura in the east and Shalateng in the south.

Malur can be approached from Palapura and Bakshipura. Udhampur Railway Station, managed by the Northern Railways that connects Jammu and Udhampur, serves this place.
