Sanjeevani Samithi is a charitable organization for the welfare of financially backward and deprived sections of the community. It is based at
Urakam, about 12 km from
Thrissur , in
Kerala. It keeps a cultural and spiritual orientation in all its activities.
Sanjeevani Samithi provides support to orphan, children and aged people. Separate lodging centers are available for young girls and boys. The organization runs educational institutions, pre-primary education center (Sree Sankara Sisu Vidhya Mandiram) and two homes - Sanjeevani Balika Sadanam and Swami Agamananda Bala Sadanam - for children. Sree Lakshmi Vanitha Swasraya Kendram offers vocational training to women.
Sanjeevani Samithi can be reached by bus from Thrissur Bus Station. Thrissur Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
