Urakam

Urakam is a small village about 12 km from Thrissur. The place is on Thrissur-Irinjalakuda route. The famous Urakam Ammathiruvadi Temple, one among the 108 Durga temples built by Lord Parashuram, is located here.

The place can be reached from Thrissur Bus Station or Thrissur Railway Station.
