Sangam Bridge

Sangam Bridge is built across the Jhelum River at Sangam in Anantnag District, Jammu and Kashmir. It is an old bridge built by Pratap Singh in the year 1910.

The significance of this bridge is that it was the first to be constructed over the Jhelum in the 20th century. This conventional cantilever deodar bridge is now in a dilapidated state and a new bridge has been constructed adjacent to it. The new bridge is on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway 1A route.
