National Highway 1A

National Highway 1A links Jalandhar in Punjab with Uri in Jammu and Kashmir. This 663 km-long road passes through Hargovindpur, Dasuya, Kathua, Udhampur, Jammu, Srinagar and Baramulla before terminating at Uri.

Pathankot, Vernag, Kud and Gulmarg are some prominent tourist destinations that lie along the National Highway 1A.

Of its total length, the roads traverses 108 km in Punjab, 14 km in Himachal Pradesh and 541 km in Jammu and Kashmir.
