Salgare

Salgare lies 17 km north-east of Arag and is near Sangli District’s southern border with Bijapur District of Karnataka. It is 22 km south-west of Ankla. Athni in Bijapur District is 23 km south-east of Salgare.

Chandoli Wildlife Sanctuary, Sangli Fort, Gol Gumbaz, Ibrahim Roza and other historic sites in Bijapur are tourist options within easy access from Salgare.
