Rongbang Falls




Rongbang Falls, locally known as Rongbang Dare, is a beautiful waterfall situated a little beyond Rombagre, in East Garo Hills District. It is situated on the Tura-Williamnagar State Highway, about 40 km from Tura, the second largest town in Meghalaya.

This glittering waterfall on the Simsang River, situated amid evergreen hills of bamboo’s, is a much sought after destination for tourists. The waterfall is at its best during the monsoon months.

Rong’bang Falls presents a romantic visual of lasting satisfaction for motorists driving from Asanangre towards Williamnagar. Even though the fall is located some distance from the highway, the width and depth of the falls makes it clearly visible, leaving the viewer with memories of ecstatic joy.
