Ranibandh




Ranibandh is a taluk headquarters town of Bankura District in West Bengal. It is located about 93 km from the industrial town of Asansol. Jhilimili is 17 km to the south. The town is surrounded by Khatra in the north, Raipur in the east, Birgi and Phulkusma in the south.

Watchtower at Jhilimili, Mukutmanipur, Ranibandh Forest and Ambikanagar, an ancient center of Jain culture are the nearby tourist destinations.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport serves Ranibandh. Chandrakona Road Railway Station is the closest railway station.
