Rampur

Located on the National Highway 33, Rampur is a small town in the Ranchi District of Jharkhand. It is around 12 km north-west of Ranchi. The nearest town is Namkom which is about 9 km north. The Sun Temple, renowned for its rich carvings and scriptures, is 18 km away. Ranchi Hill, Ranchi Lake and Tagore Hill are the other attractions in the neighborhood. Ranchi Airport and Ranchi Railway Station are the nearest airport and railhead respectively.
