Namkom

Situated about 5 km east of Ranchi, Namkom is a small town in the Ranchi District of Jharkhand. Ranchi Hill, Ranchi Lake, Tagore Hill, Kanke Dam, Gonda Hill, Hatia Dam and Jagannathpur Temple are the main attractions in and around the town. Pahari Mandir, one of the prominent pilgrim centers of the district, is located nearby. Software Technology Parks of India has a center at Namkom. Namkom Railway Station and Ranchi Airport are the nearest railhead and airport respectively.
