Quelossim

Kadalivana



Quelossim, originally known as Kadalivana, is in Mormugao taluk of South Goa District, around 2 km from Kesarval. Consua is 3 km south-west. The Zuari River flows through this region. Kesarval Spring is an important tourist destination near Quelossim. The deity of the Shri Shantadurga Temple at Kavlem was originally installed at Quelossim. It was shifted to Kavlem in the 16th century.

The nearest interesting locales are Velsao Beach, Majorda Beach and Verna.

Goa Airport and Verna Railway Station are the main access points. Quelossim is directly connected to National Highway 17.
