Phairha

Phairha is a small town situated in the interior of Azamgarh District. It is located 6 km south of Nizamabad and south-west of Azamgarh.

Anwak and Nizamabad are the two important places within 15 km.

Phairha, situated just off the state highway linking Jaunpur and Azamgarh, is well connected by road with Sarai Rani, Phulpur and Sarai Mir. Phairha Railway Station is on the Ballia-Shahganj meter gauge section of North Eastern Railways. Nearest airport is Varanasi Airport.
