Palisgram




The village of Palisgram is situated about 5 km south of Kumarpur, in Bardhaman District of West Bengal. It also borders with the district of Birbhum. To the north-west of Palisgram are Katwa and Sri Khanda. Karajgram to the east and Singhi to the west and Nigan to the south are the surrounding places.

Shah Alam’s Dargah, Jajigram, Mangalkot, Purbasthali, Khirogram, famous for Shiva temples, Gauranga Bari Temple, Babladihi, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Agrwadip, famous for its Gopinath temple, Bagnapara Vaishnav Center and Madhai Tala are some ideal locations for tourists.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Katwa Railway Station serves this region.
