Outram Island

Outram Island is one of the islands which come under Ritchie’s Archipelago, in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It is a part of Rani Jhansi Marine National Park.

The island covers an area of 19 sq km. Since this area comes under the Marine National Park/Wild Life Sanctuary, entry to here is subject to the permission from the Chief Wildlife Warden. It is an excellent place for scuba diving.

Other islands included in Ritchie’s Archipelago are John Lawrence Island and Henry Lawrence Island. Boat services are available from Port Blair.
