Nirmalagiri College is an institution of higher education in
Kannur District. It was founded by Mar Sebastian Valloppilly (the first bishop of Thalassery) in 1953 at
Koothuparamba. Affiliated to the
Kannur University, the college offers under graduate courses in ten disciplines and post graduate courses in two disciplines.
The computer training wing offers various job oriented international certification courses including software engineering, CSD, MCSE, CCNA, A+, Linux and hardware engineering. The center is also authorized to conduct international certification examinations.
Koothuparamba is on the Thalassery-Mattanur route. Thalassery Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
