Nimadi is a tribal language spoken in the states of
Madhya Pradesh,
Uttar Pradesh and
Maharashtra. It belongs to the
Indo-Aryan language family. Different names of this language are Nemadi, Nimari and Nimiadi.
Nimadi tribes use this language as their native language. Mainly it functions as the media for intra-group and inter-group communication for the tribe. This language is very close to Hindi, but with a fair number of Gujarati and other borrowings.
