Mupa, in
North Cachar Hills District, is 15 km to the south of
Langting. Mupa is renowned by the Langting Mupa Reserve Forest, spanning over 497 sq km and home to a variety of wildlife. Gunjong (13 km) in the west and Darangibra (18 km) in the east are some of the better known places in its neighborhood. Another major tourist destination is
Maibong, located 8 km to the south. The only hill station in
Assam,
Haflong, is also well linked with this place.
Silchar Airport (52 km) and Maibong Railway Station are the nearest access points.
